"Silenced has already brought in a lot of people into the theatres in South Korea and also opened a lot of eyes to the injustices that occurred in South Korea just a few years ago (2005)."
"Silenced has made a progressive impact by recently helping Korea’s National Assembly to pass a reformed bill on sexual crimes, reports The Korea Times. The “Dogani Law,” named after the Korean title of the film, significantly increases the prison sentence (up to life imprisonment) for offenders abusing children under 13 and the disabled."
To help the stories of the students affected by the Inhwa case stay on the surface, please watch the film and share their story with friends and family.
Extremely mad and angered and frustrated and boiled after i watched this...
Based on a true stories, just watch it. It's an open-eye to know how some parts of the society can be this wicked. Okay, it's about deaf kids who are sexually abused and abused (hit and smack and all) by their teachers. Some of them are killed......
